10th Annual Physicians Education Day Inborn Errors of Immunity

The Foundation for Primary Immunodeficiencies organizes an annual Physicians Education Day to improve knowledge about Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases every year in June.

Speakers provide information about working of the immune system, clinical features and complications of primary immunodeficiency diseases, and various treatment options including immunoglobulin, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and gene therapy.

Topics may include:

Immune system in relation to PID, PID in Children and Adults, Pulmonary manifestations of PID, Gastrointestinal & hepatic manifestations of PID, Autoinflammatory PID, Autoimmune manifestations of PID, Immunoglobulin therapy for PID, Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in PID and autoimmune diseases & gene therapy.
