Description

Join us for our annual Patient Education Day to improve knowledge about Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases.

With 10 to 12 new primary immunodeficiency diseases (PIDs) discovered each year, the landscape of understanding these conditions is ever-changing. Currently, there are 557 known PIDs—also referred to as Inborn Errors of Immunity—and over 413 associated disease-causing genes. Every year, exciting new insights into their clinical presentations, complications, and treatment options emerge.

Our expert speakers will dive deep into the workings of the immune system, highlight the clinical features and complications of various primary immunodeficiencies, and explore treatment options such as immunoglobulin therapy, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and cutting-edge gene therapies. With more than two hours dedicated to Q&A, you’ll have ample opportunity to engage and get your questions answered by top professionals in the field.
